Eluth
From the Greek — Eleutheria. Freedom.

Say what you mean.
Without asking permission.

Eluth is a community platform with one moderation rule: what's illegal stays down, everything else stays up. No shifting policies. No ideological gatekeeping. Your community, your server, your rules.

How hosting works

Community servers are run by independent operators on their own infrastructure. Eluth provides the identity layer, the client software, and the network licence. You provide the server.

01
Create an account and register as an operator
Start with a standard Eluth account, then register as a server operator from your dashboard. Operator registration costs £14.99 / $14.99 per year. Your licence covers one community server. Lapsed licences result in the server being suspended from the network until renewed.
02
Install on your own hosting
The community server package installs via Softaculous on any compatible shared hosting, or manually on a VPS or dedicated server. You choose the jurisdiction, the hardware, and the provider. Eluth.io does not host your community's data.
03
Members log in with their Eluth account
Members sign in through the Eluth client using their central account — no separate registration per community. Your server verifies their identity cryptographically using a signed token from eluth.io. You never handle passwords; we never see your content.
04
You set the rules, within one limit
As operator you control channels, roles, member access, and community standards. The only network-level limit: content illegal under US federal law must be removed. Operators who repeatedly allow illegal content have their network licence revoked. Beyond that, your community is yours to run as you see fit.
